ABB / Accelleron turbochargers
The brand we handle most: A100 and A200, TPL, TPS, TPC, VTR, VTC and RR series. Overhaul, repair and spare parts, with over 11.000 ABB references catalogued.
The whole range, not one generation
We work on the A100 and A200 and the TPL series of today's engines with the same depth as the TPS, TPC and VTR units installed on thousands of engines in service. That full-range coverage is what lets us look after an entire fleet — or a plant with several engine generations — from a single workshop.
- A100 and A200 series: overhaul, spares and application support
- TPL and TPS: the highest-turnover series in power generation and marine
- TPC and VTC: units from medium-speed and compact engines
- VTR and RR: veteran range with full replacement and recovery support
- Genuine and proven equivalent parts
- Replacement cartridges and rotors to cut downtime

What we do with an ABB in the workshop
- Complete overhauls of A100/A200, TPL, TPS, TPC, VTR, VTC and RR units
- Rotor balancing up to 2.700 mm length and 1.800 mm diameter
- Nozzle ring, diffuser and blade repair and recovery
- Casing wall-thickness checks, welding and machining
- Ultrasonic cleaning in 4.500 and 5.000 litre tanks
- Field service on board and at the plant, with a 24/7 line
The current series account for most of our plant and fleet work today: TPL and TPS on power-generation and marine engines, and A100/A200 on the more recent installations. For those we keep wear-part stock, replacement cartridges and on-site intervention capacity.
In parallel we give full support to the veteran range — VTR, RR, TPC — whose upkeep remains critical for thousands of engines in service and where component recovery avoids complete replacements.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cover the veteran VTR and RR range, or only the current series?
Both, and they are different jobs. On the current series — TPL, TPS and A100/A200 — we keep wear-part stock, replacement cartridges and on-site intervention capacity. On the veteran range — VTR, RR, TPC — the value is component recovery: recovering a nozzle ring, a diffuser or a casing avoids a complete replacement that in many cases is no longer available.
Why does the rating plate carry exchange intervals for the wheels?
Because the compressor wheel and the turbine accumulate damage through creep and fatigue: temperature, speed level and load cycles consume their life. ABB expresses those limits and exchange intervals on the rating plate through its safety design concept (SIKO). Note what it does not cover: bearings, casings and wear from erosion or corrosion go by inspection findings, not by that interval.
