MAN / Everllence turbochargers
Overhaul, repair and spare parts for the NR, NA, TCA and TCR series — on ships, power plants and stationary applications. Over 5.400 part references catalogued. MAN Energy Solutions has traded as Everllence since 2025; the turbochargers and their model designations are unchanged.
From veteran NRs to today's TCA/TCR
The NR and NA series have decades in service and remain the heart of many fleets and plants; TCA and TCR equip today's engines. We service both generations to the same documented standard: measurements against tolerances, balancing and final testing.
- NR/NA overhauls including shaft and nozzle-ring recovery
- TCA and TCR series, workshop and on-site
- Genuine and proven equivalent parts
- Experience on marine and stationary MAN engines

What we do with a MAN in the workshop
- Complete overhauls of the NR, NA, TCA and TCR series
- Shaft and wheel recovery by machining and metal spraying
- Nozzle rings, diffusers and bearings — measured against tolerances
- Dynamic balancing and final testing before delivery
- On-board work in port and at power plants
- More than 5.400 MAN references catalogued, genuine and equivalent
The NR and NA series have decades in service and still make up the majority of many fleets and plants. They are also the ones that benefit most from an independent workshop: when factory support makes supply slower or dearer, component recovery and proven equivalent parts keep the engine running.
Technical note: PBS Turbo (Velká Bíteš, Czech Republic) manufactures the NR series (/SJ, /SR, /SX and /SRX variants) and the TCR series under licence from MAN. We work with both sources, which widens the spare-part and retrofit options available for the same engine.

Frequently asked questions
Do you still service the veteran NA and NR series?
Yes. The MAN range we handle runs from the veteran NA and NR units to today's TCA and TCR, and the older frames are precisely where component recovery and proven equivalent parts make the difference between keeping an engine in service and retiring it.
Can the turbocharger specification be changed to recover engine power?
Not on your own. The specification is agreed between the engine builder and the turbocharger manufacturer after matching tests, and changing a nozzle ring or a wheel without that engineering can bring surging, overspeed and shorter rotor life — and on IMO-certified marine engines it triggers re-certification. When more power is genuinely needed, the route is a documented retrofit.
