When is an overhaul due?
By running hours and the manufacturer's interval, adjusted to the operating profile: fuel, load and ambient conditions. Give us the model and current hours and we'll tell you what's due and when.
Why not run to failure?
A properly maintained turbo protects the engine: fuel consumption, exhaust temperatures and reliability all depend on it. An unplanned stop always costs more than the service that would have prevented it.
What should be watched between overhauls?
Every 25–50 running hours: charge air pressure, exhaust temperatures before and after the turbine, cooler pressure drop, and oil pressure and temperature. A sustained deviation from the logbook baseline is the earliest warning of almost every failure.

Where is the work done?
Inspections and overhauls on site wherever the unit is — on board, at the plant or trackside — and workshop jobs at our stations in Spain, Panama, Paraguay, Argentina, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Garmsar.
Can the turbocharger be cleaned without stopping the engine?
Yes: the compressor is water-washed at full load, and the turbine wet- or dry-cleaned depending on engine and fuel. Periodic cleaning in service slows efficiency loss and stretches the intervals between overhauls.
