Frequently asked questions
Are parts still available for older Napier units?
Yes, and that is much of the work: genuine parts where they exist, proven equivalent parts where they no longer do, and component recovery when neither is available quickly. Napier is one of our specialities precisely because these units stay in service long after the catalogue moves on.
Can a Napier be attended on board?
Yes. Our field engineers board in port or at anchorage and resolve on the spot whatever can be resolved there, from inspection and clearance measurement to bearing replacement. If the rotor has to come out, the logistics are coordinated so the unit returns within the port call window.
